During a real estate transaction, a realtor felt a strong urging in his heart to tell his client, an elderly lady, about repentance and the remission of sins, and the salvation that comes only through Jesus, but she replied: I am not interested in any of that stuff. A few days later, he learned that she had passed away.
And that’s the problem with all of us, we just don’t know when we may die. The Bible says: “For all flesh is as grass and all the glory of man as the flower of grass…” (1 Peter 1:24).
And so, if you were to die tonight, which direction do you think you will go? To heaven or hell? These are two different and distinct places one from the other, and there is nothing in between them. Don’t listen to man-made rules and fables that you have another chance after you die. Not true! Scripture does not teach of another chance after we pass on from here.
But here is what we learn from the Bible: “He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” (John 3:18).
